Darren | Founder & Director

Hello, I’m Darren, founder and director of Oke Building Pty Ltd. I founded this company with a vision of providing exceptional building services in the Northern Rivers Region of NSW. As a second-generation carpenter/builder, master craftsmanship is incredibly important to me, and I am committed to maintaining that quality through everything we do. 

Utilising the best tradespeople and materials from local suppliers, we can bring your vision to life. I also believe in empowering my team to push their knowledge and skills to achieve both personal and professional growth.

The very centre of our business revolves around client satisfaction; through meaningful relationships with our clients, we are able to deliver exceptional quality whilst adhering to industry best practice and Australian standards.

David | The "OG" & Carpentry Specialist

Hi, I’m David. I have been actively involved in the residential building industry for 44 years, progressing as an apprenticed carpenter, sub-contract carpenter, Licensed Builder, and also as a Building Consultant. As Darren’s father, I am proud to bring my work experience to the Oke Building team. My career has taken me from running my own successful building business to being a respected Building Consultant and Expert Witness in NCAT and Civil matters. I still believe in the power of a hard day's work and definitely have an 'old school' work ethic. My goal is to ensure that in every project we undertake doesn't just meet, but exceeds Australian Standards for quality and soundness of construction.

Ben | The Carpentry Craftsman

I’m Ben, a local farm-grown Chippie with over 15 years of experience on the tools. My background is rooted in the Northern Rivers, having worked extensively on high-end residential properties where every millimetre counts. I bring a resourceful, 'can-do' attitude to the site—whether I’m operating heavy machinery like tractors or meticulously finishing a complex carpentry detail. I take great pride in ensuring that the quality of our work matches the beauty of our local region.

Faye | The Glue

Hello, I’m Faye. While the boys are out on-site bringing your project to life, I’m the one behind the scenes ensuring our operations run like a well-oiled machine. As the team’s virtual assistant and administration whiz, I bridge the gap between the building site and the office. I’m committed to providing quick, friendly answers and ensuring that our communication with you is seamless. If you need a straight answer or a project update, I’m your go-to.
